Beta testers needed - Help us revolutionize the way you discover new teas!
Any word on what the process will be for this one? When it starts, how we’ll know etc.. Just looking forward to seeing what you have in store for us :)
I sent an e-mail and haven’t heard anything. I don’t even know what it’s about. It’s so mysterious..
Wath it be just an elaborate prank. Hehe
I got a private message from C R, make sure you’re following him, got a link to the BETA site, made my selections and my samples are shipping today! This all happened maybe 20mins ago.
Haha did they always ha e the follow bit on the first post. I totally missed that if they did. So much for being able to follow directions haha
Hi there – thanks for your interest. In short, we think the current ways to discover new teas could be better. Retail stores aren’t always convenient (or nearby) and online stores offer no great way to try before you buy… we’ve built a service that hopefully solves for this in a fun way. When we send you an invite you can sign up and try the service for free.
We sent out the first wave of invites today. The next wave should come sometime this week. Look for it sooner than later!
AWWWWW :( Didn’t get an invite on the first wave. Hope I get one next time. It would be nice to be able to try before you buy.
Is this a tea review site, a subscription site, a new tea company, or something else?
First rule of tea club, Dont talk about tea club
^I take no issue with that. :)
Ha ha – awesome. As per my note to a comment above, we’ve built a service that lets people discover great new teas by actually trying them. No subscriptions, just sign up and try it out when you get an invite.
Thanks in advance for giving it a shot!
“If this is your first night”,…BRILLIANT. Surely PeaceNL you,ve been sitting on that one waiting for a good opportunity.
I’m curious. Sign me up if that’s possible.
If they allow it will you put your stuff on their site Stacy? (Butiki Teas) I think that would be awesome. I have no clue how that would work though… let the negotiations begin!
Helena-I still have no idea what this is. I haven’t gotten a response/invitation or anything.
okay from my brief time with it (ordering samples) you can add teas to a que and then order a sample which will include 3 of those in your que they go in order of when you added them. If you just want samples it’s $5. They have a small collection of teas on there. There’s some black, white, green and oolong. They will add more as they go I’m sure. (I want CHAI!) You can also order tea straight out in various sizes (1oz,2oz,4oz and 8oz) if you like it. You can put reviews on their website as well. It’s pretty easy to click right along and navigate. I’m not sure how else to describe it. I will of course rate the teas when they arrive and have a bit more info on it all :D
I don’t think I said anything I’m not supposed to. I’m just trying to help everyone understand what’s going on with this. It’s very interesting and if they allow tea vendors like you (Butiki Teas), Frank (52teas), David (Verdant Tea), etc… it would be a great way to get all the tea I like from one place :D I don’t know if they will but I’m hoping :D
Helena-That sounds interesting. Thanks for the update. :)
Sign me up, please, if you still have open spots!
