Fengqing Black Dragon Pearl from Teavivre blew me away just yesterday!

If I do say so myself, we do a very nice black tea – Ji Hong Men from the An Hui region. It’s very easy to drink, soothing with a earthy and rich taste. It can be drunk with honey or milk & sugar, but I enjoy it just as it is, pure tea. Delicious!

Darjeeling! Simply amazing. In fact i think i’ll have a cuppa. One of the many perks of owning a tea store… So much tea!

I don’t have too much experience with unflavoured blacks. I tend to find them to be a bit strong tasting. I’m trying to learn to enjoy them because they seem to have such complex flavours that I want to experience! With the limited experience that I do have, I would say that Assam Banaspaty from David’s Tea would be worth a try.

Great suggestions, everyone!

Laoshan Black from Verdant or Black Pearl from Mandala according to my ratings :)
Also Verdant Golden Fleece but that is about gone if not already gone. :(

I’m drinking some Ridgway’s Her Majesty’s Blend right now that I love love love. But I don’t think you can find it anywhere. I’m also the only person to review it!

It’s hard to narrow down, as I’m on a quest to find the most satisfying breakfast black. I do love Assam (most recently purchased from London Tea Room), Teavana’s Black Dragon Pearl is yummy, & after reading reviews here I ordered Laoshan Black, which I have a feeling I’m going to thoroughly enjoy.

Hmmmmm, I don’t remember writing the above comments, I guess that was when I first joined Steepster! I’m still on that quest though, & I love so many. Laoshan Black & Golden Fleece are awesome, but I admit, I love so many teas now, each for their own special qualities.
