Where can you buy/order a good Yixing Teapot?

So I’m wondering where you can buy a relatively inexpensive yixing teapot. Pretty self explanatory but any input is welcomed, thanks!

It is – I got my pumpkin yixing pot from her I LOVE it !! So unusual!

Isn’t it difficult to wash yixing pots in unconventional shapes? Or do they not get washed so the tea can get baked into the pot? (Sorry, I know nothing about this stuff.) My first thought when I saw the pot was, how cute!, and my second was, omg, that would be so hard to clean…

You only rinse them – if you wash with anything they will absorb the flavor of what you wash them in. So a nice rinse in clean water is all you do. :) And remove the excess leaf of course. They sell special brushes for that too but I don’t have one yet.
Its perfectly good to ask questions – its how I learned :)

Ahhh, that makes sense, thank you. So basically a yixing pot is one of the few things on the planet that I could buy in a fun shape and not curse my poor decision-making a few days later. Nice! :D

Mandala Tea, absolutely! I got mine from there and Garret was very helpful in helping me pick out the exact one I was searching for. Good prices too, especially considering mine was handmade. Good luck!

TeaSource has some nice inexpensive ones if you want to try one first before making a big purchase:

Also keep in mind the size you want – some of these are very tiny while others quite large. Check how many ounces they are. I have found some places do not list that information and you need to ask.

Do you have a local China town? That would be a great place to explore they usually have great deals that will blow any online retailer away, plus you can get some good chinese food while you walk around.
In case you don’t we have a few Yixing pots in our selection of teaware.

Woah – those are cool!

I love the mosaic Yixing. I thought I was pretty content with my Yixing mugs (I have one for Jasmine tea, one for Ali Shan, and one for Yellow tea), but, I might just break down and get that mosaic Yixing… not sure what tea I’d use it for though…

That is the one that stood out to me as well AND its the least expensive lol
