Wanja Tea of Kenya has launched their own brand of high quality Kenyan Purple Tea.

Wanja Tea of Kenya is an online tea store based in Massachusetts that deals solely in high quality and unadulterated Kenyan Purple Tea. Our teas are sourced at a fair price from small-scale farmers in Kenya’s most fertile tea growing regions. More information can be found on their website www.wanjateaofkenya.com

What exactly IS purple tea? Is it a processing thing, like for example oolong, or green tea?

LiberTEAS said 2012-09-16 03:03:12 -0400

Purple tea is a new varietal of the Camellia Sinensis plant.
