Well done, Rishi. Great presentation. I thought it was paced really well, and the distribution of information was spot-on. As someone who doesn’t know very much about the history, culture and diversity of tea (outside my own chai-based upbringing), I really enjoyed it and didn’t find it overwhelming.

Thanks for sharing!

In response to your reference to a lack of tea choice at a wedding, I have given much thought to my wedding reception in tea choices and how to set up a tea station. I wonder if guests will think it overdone if I provided brewing info cards? I don’t want to spend all day on MY day seeing people scorch the lovely white tea I am sharing. I swear this will be my only bridezilla moment.

Your comments explain why there won’t be tea at my wedding. I feel that I am one of the only people who would know to steep it right and I don’t want to drink bad tea – or waste good stuff! : )

thanks for all the great comments!

peacenl – yes, time was limited. 20 slides, 20 seconds each. but point taken.

chamei- provide the brewing cards. you could also have stations that keeps water heated to the desired temperatures. people will appreciate the novelty no matter what you do. and besides the last thing you want, is everyone drinking scorched tea and then spending the rest of their lives bemoaning “the bitterness of white tea.”
