How many cups of tea do you drink a day?
I drink 3 or 4 full mugs a day. But I usually resteep my leaves once, more if the leaves are oolong, or a tea I love that is running out and impossible to find. I drink hot tea when it’s 95 degrees out and never drink iced tea.
Haha on working days more than three cups, weekends a bit less. While having gongfu tea with friends, countless :P
4-6 a day. And a different flavor each time, usually.
I drink one or two, typically I also drink ten or more glasses of water, I don’t want to get TOO sloshy. :)
Lately, I’ve been drinking 5-7 cups a day. I always begin the day with the most caffeinated such as mate or guayusa. Then, it’s oolong time. Lots & lots of wonderful oolong.
I fix a tea tray only about twice, maybe three times a week. The rest of the time I drink a coffee beverage (Maxwell House International Coffee – Cafe Francois, for 20yrs.) Tea time is for me a special time to relax, so it’s only when I have time for that.
I normally have at least 1-3 glasses a day. If I am concentrating on steeping a certain tea I can go as high as 10 glasses (or 5 mugs) of tea because I love re-steeping.
Including re-steeps on average about 12 upwards toward 15. Depends also on if I am having a gongfu session – the cups are smaller of course but I can easily get up toward 30 cups a day when I do them mixed with regular tea drinking.
It really depends on what type of tea and type of brewing I am doing.
Normally thought with blacks, oolongs, whites, etc its around 10-15.
There are those days however where I am lucky to get 3 or 4 in.
When I recently got serious about tea, I overdid it and messed up my digestion. Now I try to limit myself to a matcha latte in the morning, a cup or two (green, black, whatever) during the day and a mug of rooibus at night. Here in Houston it is hot most of the year as well, but I rely on ice water to cool off with as I prefer drinking hot tea to cold.
