Holiday teas

Well, I finally found my way back here. I have missed this. Anyway, I just wanted to point out that many tea companies are going to have special teas or special tea gifts available this holiday season. For those of you who are planning to do this, now is the time to let the tea writers know.

Why? Because during the Holidays we are bombarded by tea companies that all want us to carry their information at the same time. We cannot carry every one of them—unless you give us the time to do it.

Writers do actually have lives away from the computer and while we really, really want to maintain a good relationship with the tea sellers, sometimes it is impossible to keep up.

This holds for iced tea season, too. Tea companies should really get the word out in April, May at the latest. Writers can write a story and hold it until your release date if you request it. The earlier you send the information, the more likely it is that the writer or reviewer will have time for you.

I say all this with kind intentions because I really want to see every tea company get the attention they deserve.
