Tea tattoo

Alright, so as some of us have discussed I have many tattoos, but no tea related ones.
I have finally decided to get my tea tattoo, a teapot & cup with a banner with a great tea quote. I just haven’t found that quote yet.

Anyone know any really good tea quotes?

I have some silly and non-useful ones!
“I say let the world go to hell, but I should always have my tea.”
― Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Notes from Underground. Haha, no, that’s kind of depressing.
Never trust a man, who when left alone with a tea cosy… Doesn’t try it on.
Billy Connolly
Where there’s tea there’s hope.

I’m personally a fan of:
“A woman is like a tea bag- you never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

Although I would take out the part about bags because it applies to all tea ;)

Boy, you asked a hard one. Good ones so far. Here’s some of our favorites.

Remember the tea kettle – it is always up to its neck in hot water, yet it still sings! ~Author Unknown
or
Tea is instant wisdom – just add water! ~Astrid Alauda
or
“I am in no way interested in immortality, but only in the taste of tea.”
― Lu T’ung

Hmmm… could there be a tattoo parlor in our future….?

I like this one:

“If man has no tea in him, he is incapable of understanding truth and beauty.” ~Japanese Proverb

I am also a heavily tattooed lady! I love Rachel’s quote, you’ll have to post a pic when all is said and done.

I was debating on this one, but I don’t like the word “din” lol

“It has not the arrogance of wine, the self consciousness of coffee, nor the simpering innocence of cocoa.” Is my favourite (Kakuzo Okakura), although it doesn’t include the word ‘tea’ explicitly, and is a bit long for a tattoo.

There are a couple of little sayings I just saw recently that I like:
“I don’t have room for sadness, I am too full of tea”
or “You brew the tea you drink” or “Have tea and let it be”
Good luck! Cant wait to see pics once you have it done:)

I’m not ‘heavily’ tattooed, but I do have 3 (so far), & am always fantasizing about the next one…
I’ve toyed with several tea-related ideas as well.

I have a couple, and will probably have a lot more once I’m out of school!
