Grimm Tea
It seems like they have weeded out all of the quirkiness of the first part of season 1, and they have little to no direction. I keep watching, but I do not have to like it. Lol.
I was inordinately pleased that Bud was not hurt last night! Not enough Monroe in this one.
I was kinda hoping for a story arc chasing down the old school Grimm. At least they could interweave that story through the entire arc. It would make for something a little more interesting.
I do agree though about Bud. I was worried that he was going to die, or at least get hurt.
I would have liked to see the other Grimm being someone more serious. This guy was a clown. I don’t believe the character development at all.
Its funny though because I too was really worried about poor Bud lol.
It had a lot of wasted potential. What was the guy at the end? A lamprey or a leach? Yuck!
It was weird for me to see him on here, though, because, I did like him on Bones. He shouldn’t be on Grimm, he should be on Bones! LOL I have a hard time detaching the actor from the character sometimes.
I was very worried about Bud too. I’m glad that they got there just in time.
I also agree about the character development. He appears at the start of the season as an intern, really does very little except appear as almost a cameo each week, and then all the sudden he is a Grimm wannabe. Huh? I even suspected him as soon as they started mentioning the new Grimm, I thought, it has to be the Bones guy. It has to be someone who we have seen before, someone who has been watching Nick, and who could it be? It couldn’t be any of the other characters, it had to be him.
I think that they should have either let us get to know this new intern a little better, or had a few more “new” police officers or something to keep us somewhat mystified so that the ending wasn’t so predictable.
Oh… by the way, in the last episode of “this year” – the Season of the Hexenbiest – will have a scene in one of my favorite restaurants in Portland. It is now called the “Slide Inn” but I know it best as il Piatto: http://hungryinportland.com/2011/09/11/il-piatto/
yes, from what I understand, Juliette and Adalind will be dining together at the restaurant. It was very exciting when I learned about it … I was all like: I’ve been there! I’ve been there!
LOL – every time we’re in Portland I’m always looking for Aunt Marie’s trailer! hahaha!
Wasted potential is probably the best way to explain the show. The writing needs to be a little more focused and engaging.
So on Friday night’s episode, when Adalind and Juliette were having “coffee” at “Portland Java” … that was actually one of my favorite restaurants called The Slide Inn. It used to be called il Piatto (and that’s the restaurant with which I’m familiar, I’ve not been to the restaurant since they’ve changed it to the Slide Inn, it’s supposed to feature more German fare now, it used to be more Italian)
I was so excited that I had actually BEEN there. Twice!
