How many infusions?

i usually get about 4 for raw pu-erh.

It depends on the tea itself and how you prepare it. More leaf with less steep time means more flavorful infusions. Less leaf and more steep time means fewer flavorful infusions. Small leaves that are cut will provide fewer infusions. Larger whole leaf might have more infusions.

These are just general rules. Every tea is unique. Have fun experimenting!

It depends. I usually do 1-3 with my greens, but with some of Verdant’s I’ve gotten upwards of 7 or 8, gong-fu style. Sometimes with that, though, it gets to be less about the flavor of the tea and more just about the warmth of the cup.
