Has anyone ever gotten tea from McNulty's (NYC)?

I have heard that this place has some pretty good teas. Some of my family is going to NYC to visit another family member who lives there, so I am going to have them pick me up some tea.

If anyone has been there, do you have any recommendations?

You can see all of their teas in their catalog:

I’ve tried a few of their teas, you can read some of my reviews here:

Thank you!

I might try the Java Santosa and the Apple Mint Tea based on your reviews. Sounds interesting and delicious. I might also go with the Berry Creme.

…I need to stop buying so much tea…

LOVE this store. It’s like stepping back in time. Their teas are generally pretty good. I really like the golden monkey.

So I ended up ordering a TON of tea from McNulty’s. I still have to add them all to my cupboard on Steepster, but I picked up:

Java Santosa O.P.
Apple Mint
Berry Creme
Decaf Lemon Mint Spice
Ceylon Silvertips
Jasmine
Moroccan Mint
English Breakfast

So far, I’ve had the Apple Mint and the Java Santosa. I thought both were delicious.

@LiberTEAS, thank you for your reviews! I picked up the Java Santosa after reading your blog, and think it is delicious! I am drinking it right now. Just wrote my tasting note.

I’ve never been to the store but have tried their teas and I would say I’m a fan :)

I think Harney and Sons is in NYC city as well. That is where I’d go if I was visiting :)
