An Introduction to Dragon Well Long Jing Green Tea

Dragon Well tea, which is also known as “Longjing” tea, is a premium grade traditional green tea from China which has a history dating more than a thousand years.

Dragon Well is a delicate tea, which has to be picked at just the right time for the perfect tea. Generally, the earlier the Dragon Well leaves are picked the better. The very highest quality Dragon Well teas are plucked before Tomb Sweeping Day (which occurs in early April), and is hence called “Ming Qian Tea”.
