Who's still drinking iced tea?
As I made myself a glass of iced tea (by the way, a new flavor that we’re testing) this afternoon, I was wondering how many of you are still drinking iced tea given the change of seasons. You see, living in Florida, I pretty much drink iced tea 10 months out of the year. I’m also one of those stereotypical Americans who fills his glass full of ice for just about anything! Does the weather really affect your desire for a cold brew? Or do you drink it no matter what?
I don’t drink it with actual ice in it (but I rarely put ice in anything but milk – don’t like to water things down), but I do drink cold or cool tea every day all day long no matter the season. Sometimes there just isn’t anything that quenches thirst like a big glass of cold tea. I also drink hot tea year round, so… I guess the seasons don’t affect what I drink. :)
I’m in Canada and still drinking iced tea heh. More a fact of the tea than the season for me.
Well I’ve quit drinking pop so it is more likely that I will be drinking more tea in general year around, though I do put ice with alot of my drinks, depending on what it is…though. But during the warmer months, I am definitely drinking plenty.
my first cup of tea each day is iced. It just feels like a bigger kick start. I started making matcha frappes for after dinner too.
I drink iced tea all year round, mainly because it’s my replacement for soda/sugary fruit juice and I don’t like the taste of plain water. Delicious and basically calorie-free!
I drink it all year too. The temperature is the same as a glass of water. I usually take a Nalgene bottle of it to work each day. Of course, I drink hot tea all year too, regardless of weather.
Our housemate doesn’t like hot beverages at all, so I have been making him a lot of iced tea lately!
