My testimony for DellaTerraTeas
DellaTerraTeas is by FAR my favorite tea shop online, and if you go there and look at their selection you can too find out just why they’re so amazing! Every tea by them that I’ve tried (I still have a few in my tea basket to try!) has been delightful. From their Double Berry Burst which zaps you with a fruit flavor and leaves the wonderful raspberry flavor in your mouth for hours after consumption, to their down home and decadent Swiss Mountain which takes you to the peak of the Andes Mountains and gives you a hang-glider to glide down to the bottom on their chocolatey goodness. Della Terra is by far, so far, my favorite company I’ve ever come across and their generosity definitely shows it. I asked for a sample and they threw in two, I buy 8 1oz packages and they still let me get 4 sample packages of teas (when they had their buy a 2oz package get a 1/2 oz free special a week or two back.)
Della Terra Teas is generous, kind, and has the mind of an evil, delightful genious when it comes to developing their delicious teas that will always have you coming back for more. I’ve actually spent more money there on tea then I’d like to personally admit, however it’s all for the correct reason. Their products, their service, and their prices will always have you coming back for more.
I’m sorry for this long post, but I’m delighted by Della Terra and I assume I always will be. I just wanted to post this quick testimonial because I firmly believe this company deserves every ounce of appreciation and respect I can give to a tea company!

I recently placed my first DellaTerra order and I love their tea as well and received generous samples. The Hawaiian Dreams is so good!
I’ll have to order that one! That’s one of the few I haven’t tried yet because I currently don’t have any money! :P
They really are a great company. Love how active they are on their facebook as well. Great teas! I have reviewed many of them here and would say 95% have been reorder worthy! The other 5% were just not to my personal taste but they were not bad at all!

This company is high on my list to try next. I can’t even drink tea fast enough for all the things I want to try! Appreciate the review, because it motivates me to try to order from them soon. I really like companies that are generous about samples too.

I generally prefer it when the underlying tea flavor is evident in a flavored tea and I lean to black teas. So far I haven’t found a chocolate tea that I’ve been impressed with, but I do love chocolate. Lately I’ve been enjoying Earl Grey, Chai, and I’m in the mood for pumpkin, nuts, but really anything someone does particularly well would be of interest.I’d be interested in seeing your reviews of some of their teas. Do you think you’ll be doing any?
Woohoo I’ve got some teas for you!! Check out “Grandma’s Pumpkin Pie” or “Oatmeal Raisin Cookie.” BOTH are FANTASTIC! Oatmeal Raisin Cookie is one of my personal favorites. :) If you’re looking for chocolate, their “Swiss Mountain” with 2 teaspoons of sugar tastes EXACTLY like an Andes Chocolate! Not even kidding!! :)
I should get to posting some tasting notes. I just have so many teas to review and in all seriousness I’m lazy! :P I’ll get to posting some tasting notes soon though, I have to sort through my current collection and pick maybe 1 or 2 to review each day! :)
ALSO: I haven’t tried it yet but they have an “Earl Grey Creme” that smells heavenly!!
If you like chocolate I’d recommend S’mores, so tasty and perfect for fall! And as everyone else has said, Oatmeal Raisin is beyond delicious.

Della Terra have quickly become my favourite tea company. They took the place of another tea company. So many scrumptious items. And phenomenal customer service.

I have to add to the love fest! They have some seriously delicious teas, great variety, and exceptional customer service. I’m sipping on a cup of Chocolate Chili Truffle as I write this, and it is perfection. So many standout teas that really deliver on the flavours promised.
YUM! I have a sample of that.. hmm, looks like I’ll be trying that during my tea session tomorrow! :P
UGH! Chocolate chili truffle is so amazing. Sad I only ordered 1 oz. Definetly have to do an order next week! YUM!
I love DellaTerra! The customer service is great, the teas are excellent, and the blends are so unique. So many blends that you really won’t find anywhere else! Add in very reasonable shipping, all the deals they do, and the Try Me packs that let you try out a whole ton of teas at once and they are one of my favorite companies.

You won’t be disappointed. I have a tea-addiction to their teas!!! LOL.
I wonder if they’ve reformulated their blends since I first tried them a few months ago. I tried three of their teas, all free samples, but unfortunately found them all to be weak and not hold true in terms of flavour. I was actually quite disappointed. Not trying to rain on the parade, they clearly have stepped things up a bit in the meantime.
I had the same problem as well in terms of being weak. though i did enjoy the flavours. I know they were making adjustments based on feedback so i’m hoping they changed things up. I keep meaning to re-order some samples packs (love those) to try things out again!
I think they’re pretty good about listening to feedback and adapting. I know they modified their packaging pretty quick after initial feedback :)
I currently have about 16 of their teas in my tea basket and I started ordering from them about a month ago. All of the ones I’ve tried so far have been great!! Who knows, maybe they’re just not your “cup of tea”? LOL

Thanks TeaGinner and all the other people who made some recommendations on what to try. They went in my shopping cart! TeaGinner, even short reviews can be very helpful-I appreciate the gifted writers on Steepster, but just short opinions and tips are equally welcome.
