3rd Annual 12 Teas of Christmas from 52Teas - Pre-Order NOW.
I dithered on this one for a while. I need to pay a little more attention to my purchases for a while now than I usually did. (Not that I was ever all that much of an impulsive buyer) 52teas have a habit of arriving with an extra customs fee bill, so I’ve cut it nearly off my Availability List. There are exceptions, but they are fewer than they were before and I’m less willing to take a chance on something that might be good. So I wondered if it wouldn’t be better to just make a regular order at a shop I had never tried before instead.
Having put together a mock-order, however, it turns out that even if I get the customs bill on this, it was still much cheaper. Plus Husband rooted for this. I think he had almost as much fun with it last year although he seems reluctant to admit it.
I did it… I have given in to the temptation of Christmas deliciousness and fun of 52teas… Really, I did try to resist, but it is so much fun!!!
I may have tried many of them, but it is totally worth the fun! :) Can’t wait to share reviews with all of the others joining in on the fun this year! :)

Any way to know which teas will be included in this? I guess I’m just going to buy but I’m hesitant because I have a mint allergy. But I guess I could just give those teas to my BF.
And when does it ship?
We don’t get to know the teas until we open them, but you may want to contact Frank directly and he might be able to work with you regarding your allergy. I know a couple of 52teas blends do have mint.

Well, I had a really ROUGH experience with a vendor this year. I ordered gift boxes for the samplers about a month ago, and I was told repeatedly that they were going to ship on x day, or that they were shipping “today”. Well as of this moment, they STILL have not shipped. Fortunately, I got fed up with this vendor and ordered the boxes I needed from another vendor at the end of last week, and I am happy to say they arrived today. Tomorrow we will start assembling and shipping the samplers. (The sample pouches are all made up and ready to go, we just have to build the boxes, fill them and ship them).
I REALLY had hoped to get these shipped early this week at the latest. I apologize for the delay. Rest assured, I will NOT be using this vendor for anything time-crucial in the future. I apologize to everyone for the delay.

Ah, ok cool! I didn’t see a shipping date mentioned anywhere so I thought I’d ask. Bummer about the vendor lagging. I have had frustrating experiences like that before too! Looking forward to trying your teas!
I really don’t buy a lot of blends, so if that’s what 52Teas is I don’t know that I’d do it. But it does sound like fun. Is it like an advent thing?
It’s an advent thing, but done leading up to Christmas rather than after. 52Teas are all blends though so if you don’t like flavoured teas you might be a little disappointed. I don’t know of any unflavoured tea advent calendars, actually. That would be a real treat. Maybe we should get Verdant to do one!

There’s one I saw from a British company but it was like 50 GBP for the 24 cups of tea.
Now that I’ve said it, I really want one. How amazing would that be? Brilliantly nuanced pure teas, day after day.
