Mine got here today! Everything looks great :) So excited to start trying teas!!!
Mine too! I about started crying though because I happened to check the tracking info and it said it was delivered hours before but I never got it. After a conversation with USPS I finally located it in some random mailbox. Whew, I’m glad that box was found, can’t wait until the 14th!
Got mine today too!! The roomie and I are enjoying Day 1 right now :D All I’ll say is that I agree with Frank’s inclusion of this blend, haha.
Haha, she leaves for home on the 16th, so if we want to do it together, we had to start ASAP! I’m glad it worked out :) I’m composing tasting notes in Word, although I have already tried tea #1 :D

I’m split between wanting the blends to be the ones I’ve tried and loved this year or ones that are totally new to me. Luckily for me they’ll probably be both.
I’m also a sorta-cheater. My BF bought it for me as a Christmas gift, but we’re going to be spending some of the holidays apart. So, I opened Day #1-4 so we could “do it together”. I shall not spoil anything.
Mine came in day before yesterday! Good timing. That morning I was diagnosed with a (benign, but still scary) brain tumour. Then I went to a final exam, and my mind just wasn’t there, and I definitely bombed it. Got home feeling pretty crappy about myself, and the tea box was there!
I tore into that sucker and made a cup of the first tea. It was fantastic. I won’t spoil the surprise and I’m saving the rest of them, but tearing into that box early helped cheer me up.
The first tea is good, everyone. Real good.
I have been opening one every other day since the December 1st. I’m trying to make the fun last longer haha. Loving it so far :)
Awesome idea! I had a lot of trouble waiting to open my first one… I totally stayed up until midnight just so that I could see what I was going to be brewing when I woke up. Made it that much more difficult to fall asleep!
It’s almost the official start day! My mom sent me the first 7 since last year I missed out on doing it properly, and it has been sooooo difficult to not open the first one up already.
FYI, starting tomorrow, I will be posting reblends of each of the 12 teas, one each day. So if you enjoy the sample you got in your sampler, you can order a full pouch of it while supplies last. Merry Christmas!
Haha, we’ve actually only made it about 6-7 teas in, and I know there are some people who are going to be awfully excited for those reblends ;)
Yeah. I am resisting the temptation to put them all up on the website immediately so folks can get some of them in time for Christmas, but… spoilers… =(
I forgot about that. I just opened the first day because I am a horrible person who can’t wait, and even though I still have plenty of that pouch left, I WANT MORE. And I’m sure more of the next 11 days. Wahhh.
Ahaha momo, that’s one I missed out on, and I was seriously considering it, but…. do I really need it… I’ve tried it a couple times….
Hey I was wondering when the individuals might go on sale? I love the first tea and wouldn’t want to miss out on getting 2 oz of it :-)
SO GLAD I came to this thread and saw this comment; I just tried tea #2 (I’m behind already!) and was like DA BOMB and I missed it the first time.
I know I am getting mine as a christmas gift, and I plan on doing it after xmas so that I can keep the tea magic going into the new year (as now I am doing Davids 24 days of tea). So if there are any superfantastic blends (ok who are we kidding, I’m sure they are all amazing, but I have a limited budget) please let me know so I can maybe make my first official 52 teas purchase <3
