Really, how silly of me is it to get excited about this?

Perhaps it’s because I don’t use Twitter, but I can’t even read that. O.o Who said what about whom? And what? What?

Yeah, it took me a little bit too. I have rewrote the conversation and reformatted it as a chat conversation so that it is easy to follow. Keep in mind that this conversation was not instantaneous and took place over a couple days.

Laura Miller: Found a tea Neil Gaiman would probably like: http://steepster.com/teas/52teas/29679-graveyard-mist
Neil Gaiman: Laura, taste it! Report back!
Laura Miller: Neil, I finally tried Graveyard Mist tea & found it, strangely enough, both aptly named & delicious
Neil Gaiman: Oh good!

Thank you, Rachel! That was much easier for Mrs. Ang’s little brain to understand! :D hug

Yes, that is very cool, Frank! Keep a close eye on your orders and see if he buys some. (Even though I know you couldn’t tell us if he did)

Yes, I don’t do Twitter either, so thanks for the translation, Rachel! I got most of it right, it just took me way longer to read the actual Twitter.
Anyway, this is awesome!

I used to work at an Independent Bookstore a few years back and Neil Gaiman mentioned us in his Twitter feed. We went nuts! (By which I mean – OF COURSE you should be excited!)

Also, seriously advise offering some free tea to Gaiman/Laura Miller to keep the Twitter convo going. Be prepared to make lots more Graveyard Mist though, heh!

I hope I don’t have to turn in my geek card for this, but I am not a DW fan. I tried quite a few times, and it’s interesting, but cannot retain the interest to keep watching it. As for Neil Gaiman, I liked Neverwhere, though have been unable to read it again. (I read my books over and over, though all at once, that would get boring.) But tried American Gods not to long ago, and couldn’t even finish the 1st chapter! sad face

American Gods is only an okay book in my opinion. Try Stardust!

I think we might actually have it around the house somewhere. Though Gods only know where!

Ha I am so excited for you Frank. I had a similar incident last Thanksgiving where his wife Amanda Palmer (of The Dresden Dolls actually sent a reply to my tweet to her! I was on cloud nine for a week it was super cool! Congrats….def offer to send him some!

Amanda Palmer is one cool chick. I admire her body hair stance and wish there were more female artists like her :(

She’s pretty awesome! I love her music and well her. :)

That is completely nifty! I haven’t read a Gaiman book I didn’t like. Anansi Boys is one that is re-read a lot around our house.

It’s always nice to see that a good company isn’t so much a company as much as just regular people. Too bad most companies aren’t like 52Teas.

Aww, thanks!
