Fusion Teas
I saw on a thread here a few days ago that Fusion Teas gives samples to those who ask and has a tea blog (which can include an account on here, it not being a new account and having a few followers.) In their note back to me they said they would send a few and I could just write back to them with my selections.
The only thing is….how much is a ……..few? I feel silly for asking the question, english is my 1st (well my only.) language and I have used the word before, but it has always seems kind of ambiguous. I have written back to them asking for clarification in exactly how many they mean, but have not heard back. I am hoping others have taken advantage of this on here so they can help me out. The only sad thing I’ve narrowed it down to 7, and not sure what I want to try.

Organic Genmaicha Green Tea
Raspberry Champagne White Tea
White Tangerine White Tea
Ginger Darjeeling Peach Black Tea
Winter Solstice Herbal Tea
Blood Orange Fruit Tea
I’ve always been raised to assume that when the term “a few” is used, it means 3 – 5. And based upon my personal experience with Fusion Teas and the samples they have sent me as a reviewer, I’ve received somewhere between 3 – 5.
So should I send them 5 selections and see what they say about it?
When I reviewed for them a year or two ago, I wasn’t able to choose my teas but they did send me quite a few large samples. I can’t put a number on it now, but I think it was at least 6. I remember thinking it was extremely generous, but probably also a bit expensive for them. For me, a few is also 3 – 5 (with a couple being 2 – 3).
I just checked my tealog. Apparently they sent me 12 samples back then! I doubt that is the norm now though.
In the spring I had received 3 samples from them & they were very hearty samples.
I believe their samples are full 1 oz pouches. When I hear “a few,” I typically think 3. Last spring that’s what I requested, and that’s what they sent me.
Fusion Teas has some tasty sounding blends! I requested 3 samples from them today. To me, “few” means three and “some” means 4 or 5. Can’t wait to try out their teas!
They have sent me three packages of teas with three or four tea pouches in each package. So I’d say three or four. Their blends are GOOD and I am also appreciative of their generosity!
Yes, I totally agree… I’ve received a couple of packages from them now, and I’ve enjoyed them. Especially some of their newer blends!
