How does swapping tea work and anyone interested?
Hey, I was kinda wondering how swapping tea works. Does it have to be in a certain package? Do you just trade addresses or do you go to somones blog? I really would like a swapping buddy lol my friend is also just getting into teas and is interested also so maybe we can all switch around? I’m building my tea collection now but soon I’d like to do this :)
Follow me and drop me a PM. Usually it’s between you and the person you are swapping with and what the two of you ‘set up/agree on’ but usually what I do is send mystery packages which can contain just about anything – various teas from various companies and various sizes…anywhere from 2 or 3 cups up to many cups, etc…but that is just me, really!
The other option is posting/replying to the Swap thread that’s kicking around if there’s something your interested in or something you want to trade.

Swaps can work any way you want them to. I know that is vague, but it’s true :)
If you have a tea that you’d like to purge from your cupboard, mention it in a review, email, forum post (such as this one heh) or comment. Sometimes you won’t get any hits, and other times it will fly off the shelf.
When you figure out who will be sent the tea, you arrange details via email or IM. Sometimes the swap will be only one way depending on budgets/time contraints, and others you can peruse their cupboard to see if there is anything you’d like to try.
We’re a pretty chill group so don’t worry about asking questions!

Courtney and Crazy4u, follow me and send me a message. I have been out of swap for awhile because of my work schedule (can’t get to post office) but I’ve got two weeks off coming up and wouldn’t mind giving you a “sampler” of some teas I have a ton of!
