Well, there’s the last nail in the coffin…
Well, I don’t like Starbucks coffee, so might as well not like their tea either. ;)
I posted the same topic earlier. Maybe we can get the two topics merged perhaps?
@Rachel, considering it’s Starbucks we’re talking about, doesn’t it seem more appropriate to have lots of individual stand alone threads scattered around within a page or two of eachother?
That took me a second, but hahaha!!
Now that you mention it, I’m going to go into a bookstore and start a thread about Starbucks buying Teavana there, too.
I don’t like Teavana, and I think it’s only appropriate that Starbucks purchase them. They belong with one another.
It’s especially interesting because Starbucks is/was set to open a Tazo storefront – http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-06-20/starbucks-to-open-tazo-tea-store.html – and I think I read an article saying that this Tazo store would allow people to get a cup of tea, but also to blend their own a la Adagio. Interesting.
I’m curious to see how this pans out.
As far as I know the Tazo store open(s) today or tomorrow in Seattle.
Did someone ask if this is a good or bad thing?
“Schultz said Thursday that the Tazo shop will serve as a “learning laboratory” for its development of Teavana stores. He said that the brands give the company a two-tiered approach to the fast-growing tea category, since Teavana is a premium loose leaf tea while Tazo is a bagged tea product sold in supermarkets
Schultz said Teavana will also move into the consumer packaged goods category, meaning it will also be sold in supermarkets."
iDK i think Starbucks burns there coffee and im not thrilled with tea Store so i dont think anything will change or get better for me I hope there not going to Push me into buying coffee …
