Our name is fancifully derived from the Sanskrit term “MAHA” which means “Great”, and “MOSA” from “Formosa” the former name of Taiwan, which is often used in the tea industry.

As part of our Being in the World® mission, we are committed to donating 50% of our after-tax net profits to charitable causes including hunger, poverty, environment, clean water, animal/natural life welfare, and other causes.
