George Takei is a Tea Lover!
This past week I had the unique opportunity to pour (and sell) tea to George Takei. He’s a funny man and really loves green tea in the morning. We made this little video about our encounter with the Star Trek actor: https://vimeo.com/54004373

Oh, that’s awesome! George Takei is so amazing. I used to watch TOS with my dad every Wednesday, ah memories. He’s actually doing a signing near me and I’m gonna see if he’ll sign a pic of Ricardio from Adventure Time (I’m a huge dork ^^;).

Yes, he’s very funny. He spoke to our group about the power of his Facebook following and how he uses the opportunity to make people aware of their surroundings and promote tolerance. He does it in an incredibly funny way :)

He is a hardcore tea drinker. The man drinks green tea in particular all day long. I’ve had the pleasure of working with him a couple of times, and if there was one way to this man’s heart, it was making sure his cup of green tea never went dry! He’s part of the reason I converted from a coffee drinker to a tea drinker. I hope to share tea with him down the road. He’s an absolute pleasure.

I’m an assistant director in TV & Film. I worked with him twice when I was a Trainee, once on LARRY CROWNE and later on little NIK show called SUPAH NINJAS!
SUPAH NINJAS, what a great name. Unfortunately I don’t know that show, but sure imagine to be a great show, especially if George Takei is in it.
