Places Help

I am having a very DUH moment, or perhaps it is the fact I have had wine instead of tea this evening, but I am not seeing how to add a comment to a place that is already rated — or even how to rate a place I added myself? I see a message inviting me to comment, but can’t for the life of me figure out how to do so. What do I need to do?

Just click the rating-stars (the ‘overall’ ones above the store information; once you put your cursor over them they’ll turn a darker green). The usual window will pop up for you to type your review, and another star-rating setup will be directly above it for you to set. There shouldn’t be any difference if you’ve added the place to the system yourself or not. …Or at least I didn’t notice any?

Right on. Thanks, AJ. I guess you can tell I’m read-only when it comes to yelp or any of those other star rated systems. Lol.

One more question. I meant to give the place I reviewed 4 stars. I clicked on the 5th star and it seemed to turn off, but when I posted 5 showed up. I retried a few times, same result. How do I turn off a star?

Huh. Try clicking the fourth star? Since that’s the rating you want to give. I assume that’d work, otherwise I’d guess it might just be a glitch of some sort.

Must be a glitch. I click it off, when I post, it turns back on.

I suffer, I suffer.

It would be nice to be able to write a comment WITHOUT giving a star rating – some places in my area have changed names/locations/etc. and there’s no way to indicate that – you can list a place as closed, but then you can’t comment on it to say it moved or whatever.
