My order of Czar Nikolas II “St Valentine” tea has arrived!
It’s a blend of Black tea, Rose Petals, and Safflower. It has a very heady rose aroma. This was my pick to accompany the book, so if anyone wants to sample it, I have PLENTY to share. Just PM me your address & I’ll send it out right away.

I would love to sample some! I am following you, so you can PM me, or follow me… (I’m new here and don’t have any teas up yet, but I’ll get there, I promise! And I am looking very forward to tea swaps and just plain ol’ sharing!) I just started reading AK last night.

I can’t wait to try this! I love rose teas, my favorite so far is Harney’s. I think I sent you my address already?

OK, I have both of you and ThreeWhales.

Anyone else?

As a dog lover, I adore when books have dogs in them. I was wondering what Laska means, which is the name of Levin’s dog and here is what I found:

Sounds as though there are quite a few possibilities, but I find it charming because I call my own dog Weasel as a nickname.

Aw, I love it. It’s odd that there’s kind of a range of translations, right? I’m going to go with the ‘kindness’ meaning, although ‘weasel’ is cute too. :)

If I’m not too late to join in, this sounds lovely. I’m longtime reader who has just discovered the joys of tea. This sounds like a perfect book club to inspire me to try both new teas and new books.

I just got mine today! Thank you! :) This tea club was a great idea. I’m nearly done the 3rd part of the book and there’s so much left, I don’t even know what to expect will happen!

I’m covered! Thanks!
I still have LOTS of the St Valentine tea from Czar Nicholas II. If anyone wants some, let me know. It’s a black tea, heavy with roses & fruit.

I am surprised how easy this book is to read. I am really enjoying myself!

Me too! I’m really starting to get into it now that I’m on break. I was surprised that it is easy to read as well, I thought it would take awhile to get used to.

I always thought it would be a tougher one – translations can make a huge difference though. Which one are you reading? I hope to get to AK sometime in the next few years. : )

How’s everyone coming along? I’m on chapter 20

Small
Josie Jade said 2012-12-31 01:54:09 -0500

I’m on the third part, I think my book maybe divided up differently because when I looked I saw I was on chapter 6 and I got really confused. Time to get reading – January 25th isn’t too far away. :)

Cavocorax said 2012-12-31 02:01:39 -0500

I’m on page 526/1037 in the kindle edition. I think that’s chapter 22.

So much has happened already that I’m surprised I’m only halfway through.

Terri HarpLady said 2012-12-31 02:06:00 -0500

I’m in part 2, chapter 30.
