Favorite holiday movie and a tea that would compliment it.

I agree with Alphakitty—my favorite holiday movie is The Nightmare Before Christmas! I’d pair it with either Burgundy Oolong or Pumpkin Cream rooibos.

Oooo! Pumpkin Cream rooibos sounds delicious. Where can I pick up some of that?!?

It’s one of my favorite teas! It’s at www.teabar.com. Here’s the link:

On my shopping list. Thanks! Spent above and beyond my budget this holiday weekend, so it might have to wait. It sounds yummy!

Home Alone Movies! (I liked 1-3, never wanted to watch the others, though.) Hmm because of the quirkiness of the movies, my Zingiber Ginger Coconut rooibos tea

A Christmas Story-Peachberry Jasmine Sutra-Lavender Dream Blend. Or Chai.

Look Who’s Talking 3-Winter Tonic.

Nat’l Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation- Mint Medley

Scrooged-ROT’s Mango Chili

Any reason you picked “mint medley” for Christmas Vacation? I was thinking more like “Blueberry Jam” a la the Jelly of the Month club.

An eggnog-flavored tea would work too – especially if served in tacky novelty moose head glasses!

Rachel, :) I was going by what I got in my cupboard. I had promised myself that I would not buy anymore teas before the holidays are done, being on this site almost daily is hard enough.

Mint Medley, because this movie is kind of crazy, (I like crazy sometimes.) But it can remind me to much of aspects I don’t like about the holidays. So the mint comes in to chill me out.

I’m going to veer from movies and say that watching Christmas in Rockefeller Center with a cup of Candy Cane tea from Della Terra is quite festive!!

So it’s not movie length, but it’s not Christmas till we watch “A Charlie Brown Christmas” (That’s what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.)

With silver needle in honor of the “not such a bad little tree.”

Good one!

Oh yes, what’s Christmas without Charlie Brown? And then there’s always the Grinch!

Surely there’s a Sugar Plum Who tea! (ROT Cinnamon Plum might work as a substitute.)

How about “A Wish for Wings That Work – A Bloom County Christmas” with Chocolate Delight by the Tea Guys! Reminds me of hot cocoa, and that would go really well with that show!

Are you sure we’re not related? (She left me for an ALBATROSS!)

LOL! I had to argue with a sales girl many years ago that this show even existed! It was back in VHS days. She said she was the biggest Bloom County fan in the world and if there had been a Christmas special she would have known. She found it, though! Now I have it on DVD. Maybe we are soul sisters. LOL!

Hubby had to do roughly the same thing to prove existence of a Doonesbury Christmas special.

My father and I always sit down and watch The Nutcracker Suite from a dozen different performances (on tv). My dad and I must watch this for the holidays just like my mom must watch all those animated movies (Charlie Brown, Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman, etc). We don’t have a tea we drink with it, but I can thing of nothing better than Nutcracker Sweet or Sugar Plum Spice!

I would have to say Shop around the Corner with some delicious Harney and Son’s Rose Scented tea. A truly romantic Christmas combination! Or the 1938 Christmas Carol with a nice hot chai. It’s such a warm and homey combination!
