I have been to the Ten Ren in El Cerrito before, but since I live out of the area by about an hour, I order online. (They get 5 stars for fast and accurate shipping, btw.)

Thanks for the Red Blossom tip!

Of course, the first tea that catches my eye is the Celadon Pearl. (it’s sold out.) :P

Their photos and descriptions are amongst the best tea porn on the internet.

The next time it’s in stock, for something amazingly different try a small sample of the Mi Lan Xiang (Honey Orchid).

I could probably spend all day sitting here and drooling over Red Blossom’s pictures :)

I just saw “tea porn.” HAHAHAHA!!! There are just so many wonderful resources… I’ll do an “eenie meenie” in the next day or so and place an order. I’m dumbfounded and still distracted and not doing ANY work!

So, I managed an easier fix than using the pushbutton pot. I have mesh teabags of my own (a gift that came with a recipe for a drink called Bowl of Soul. I’ll post the recipe a little later). As much as I don’t like bagging up the oolong (the leaves can’t full expand), I have to use the bigger Fiestaware pot. This half-cup steep at a time thang just is not going to work for me. So, I made 2 pots of oolong today and filled my mug and 2 thermoses. However, I did fill the teabag too full and it became more of a teapillow. I can use this thing at least 2-3 more times, and I will also empty the bag out and let the leaves sit in the pot. Phew!

Maybe it’s time (and right season) for you, or someone close to you, to buy a new, medium sized pot?

Rumor ‘round my house is that it’s already being taken care of! ;)
