Paper cups. I don’t like washing mugs, drink bottles, tumblers.
A fresh paper cup is nice.

Teavangelical, I’m drinking my Shoprite Orange Pekoe tea in a dirty Starbuck cup as I write this…

I think I am the opposite of everyone here. (…and maybe even on Steepster??? LOL) I LIKE bagged teas (a LOT), and I don’t feel guilty for drinking them. I’m going to drink the teas I like, and be happy!!! :)

:::lifts her glass of Red Rose::: Who’s with me?!? :)

Well said, lets not get so sophisticated that we turn up our noses at good bagged tea.

Oh I love Red Rose and PG Tips. Nothing wrong with a little comfort tea. :)

Right on, Bubbles, drink what you like! I love PG Tips, Barry’s, Lyon’s, and I have gotten those all as tea bags and LOVED them. And I have a special place in my heart for Celestial Seasonings bagged herbal “teas” because just seeing those colorful illustrations on the packages brings me back to my childhood, when I loved drinking Red Zinger (but I used to put waaay too many teaspoons of sugar in the cup)!

Love it! I really enjoy PG Tips, Barry’s and the cheap boxes of bagged tea at Oriental groceries :) All that matters is that it tastes good!

I LOVE Twining’s Irish Breakfast in a bag. And I keep the bag in for the entire time it takes me to drink the mug.

It is one fantastic bagged tea, probably the best Irish Breakfast I’ve tasted (and I’ve had more than I would like to admit)!

I drink bagged teas all the time and always will, if something taste good to you, then it’s good, bag or no. Red rose is very good supermarket tea, I aso love it’s taste.

For me, it’s the quality of what goes into a bagged tea. Too often what ends up in that pouch is not so great.
But, I’m still willing to try it! and every once in awhile I’m pleasantly surprised by a delightful brew. I’m sure if I kept my eye out for great bagged teas I could find a bunch. Heck in this thread alone there some I’m curious about!

I’m the same way. I also have a few bagged teas in my preferred stash, and others that I am discovering also come in loose leaf, after getting hooked on the bag version.

Oh man, if I found a bagged tea that was amazing and then discovered it was also sold loose… that’d totally make my week! :P

Store brand green teas like: Demoulas Market Basket; Trader Joe’s Specialty green teas, Price Chopper store brand green tea, Shaws’ Market store brand green tea (all in tea bags) that I must have. I mean after sampling so many loose teas it is always refreshing to simply return to normal with a cup (not fussed over) plain old green tea. Thank you!

“simply return to normal with a cup (not fussed over) plain old green tea” that is exactly how I feel about loose leaf genmaicha!

Obsessed with Red Rose as well. It’s something we always have in my house for other family members or friends who come over. I’m also in love with Tetley’s DREAM tea right before bed.

“Steeped Tea” from Tim Hortons! haha the name is hilarious, but damn I’ll take a cup of that with 1 cream 1 sugar before the coffee. Not to say I don’t enjoy a highly creamed and sugared double double as well ;)

This is also nice on a long drive!
