Golden Moon Tea Sampler Baskets = Pet Toys

I emailed Golden Moon Tea last night (Wednesday, March 03, 2010 9:29 PM) and asked if their basket the sampler came in was painted varnished or anything else.

They got back to me first thing in the morning telling me they’d find out.

I got back a response today after they tracked down the supplier for me.

AmazonV- My two Flemish Giant Rabbits (Bo and Daisy Duke) are looking at me with 4 little evil eyes right now. I know they are thinking why don’t my Mom go ahead and order the GM 31 Sampler so that we can chew on the basket too. :)

I reused the Golden Moon box for embroidery floss. I have used nice boxes from Harney and Sons for the same thing! Any box that is nice and comes into my possession gets used for small balls of extra yarn, buttons, etc. etc. etc. Same with tins (if they are not big enough for cookies!).

I have my grandmother’s china cabinet from the 1940s in my studio – the top part which is wood and glass (i.e. you can see the shelving!!) is filled with pretty boxes from here and there with supplies, then the drawers hold full skeins of yarn, fabric, painting supplies, etc.
