I didn’t even know Davids had accounts, heh. I would contact them directly, they may be able to see account history or something like that.

Yeah I looked to make sure nothing had been bought and it hasn’t but its just strange! I know they are sending me a new cup because mine was damaged so at first I thought maybe it was the girl who was helping me cause its the davidstea number. But the names dont match! Ill wait a bit for them to send me a reply email and if not then Ill have to call!

Hopefully it is just a database error that they can correct quickly.

You should probably change your password to your DT account, if you haven’t done so already.

Yeah I changed the password right away. Now the number they have listed is for DT and the address I just have no idea who this person is.

Can be a bug in the system too happen all the time ( even happen to me once with my bank account ..) change you password to take no chance and communicate with them but if it was a hack the person would probably have ordered thing what the use to hack a buyer account if not buying anything with it and the hacker would probably have changed your password too so you cannot log back

Very true that makes me feel a bit better thanks.

There are lots of reasons to hack into an account and not buy anything once inside. Just to see if you can hack it or to figure out what type of safety measures a site has. Recently there was a guy who’s Ipad and Iphone were wiped remotely by two teens seeing if they could. They used the last 4 digits of his credit card which was listed on Amazon to verify they owned the account on a call into Apple. They guy lost years worth of photos of his new daughter because some kids were testing their skills.

People are habitual and tend to use the same or similar user names and passwords on multiple sites. Once a hacker breaks into one site and is able to access the username/password database, they can run a program to use those on other sites, so the site that is originally hacked might not even be the ultimate target site.

I’m glad it ended up being nothing, but if you spot something like that don’t waste time in trying to resolve it and letting the company know.

my comment was more about the fact that they will unlikely hack a Tea site just for fun lot more site funnier to them for that as for ipad and iphone wipe Apple protection is one of the worst on iPhone 4g you could connect on them just with a normal Bluetooth ( without any security clearance needed ) and do whatever you want with it.

Web site kinda force people to use easy password by doing them mix letter and number if you want your password to be hard use weird phrase like : love walking on purple snow : that is way harder to a computer to guest than something like 8734hDiiej234 <—- computer are made to find this
