Give me your numbers!!
Well, I think I have 40 teas from Butiki alone, and probably another 30+ from Verdant… samples of nearly everything DavidsTea has… probably at least 30+ full-sized from 52teas…
My wildly out-of-date cupboard tells me 351, but I’m willing to bet I’m well over 600 if you include samples and everything (I think I have ~30 samples from Della Terra, none of which are in my cupboard).

This is why I don’t include samples—I would be downright scared of that number! I can lie to myself that it’s not so much (only 271 ^^;) without them
You’re not alone – mine are all in plastic grocery bags in my closet. A lot of mine are 1oz baggies of loose tea leaves, with the rare exceptions of my 1lb chai spice mix and tins of Kusmi.
I’m at 72, with 4 more samples on the way, and this in 3 months? I started off by buying 100g tins, then realized I could get 20-30 bags. Now I’m swapping samples,and including them in my count. I’d rather try ALL the tea then buy lots of a few (until I know which ones are the best ).
It sounds TERRIBLE, but it fits nicely in my storage tins, so my secret is safe. :) (from my bf)
I am tea addict; guessing at this time that my tea count is about 25+ as I have quite a bit of unopened teas as well. I am waiting for the new year so that I will have something new to review/discuss. Samples that I have are not included in count since they are small packets and usually for one fixing. I am not sure if making sense or answered question. Happy holidays!
You know you’re addicted when… you don’t even want to COUNT the number of teas because you know you’ll just be depressed.
Oh dear, mine is well over a hundred and probably more like two hundred. Ys, I am aware that I have a problem. There are worse problems to have, though!

Cavocorax mentioned hiding it from her bf and it made me wonder how many of us try to hide or mask our collection from our SOs. I know I try to arrange mine in a small cupboard shelf so it doesn’t look like I’m squirreling away too much. I dream of a much larger shelf with a way to display them so I can see them all. It would make picking a tea so much easier!
:) Turns out that I told him how much I had after I posted because I was surprised. He had no idea there was so much stashed away- guess I’m pretty good at organizing. And buying small quantities. And so I’ve been teased all day about it as he offers tea to our friends. :p
I would LOVE a big shelf to organized/display my teas. Easy access is a must! #dreams
