Mariage frères

Where can you buy Mariage frères tea in Canada? I know they ship from Europe and the UK, but the prices are outrageous for shipping. Is there anyplace within North America (US / Canada) that ship it?

Dean & Deluca carries a limited selection of Mariage Freres on their website. Also Market Hall Foods – with a much larger selection. These are both US based, I believe, but I assume they will ship to Canada.

OMG I love Dean and Deluca! Their black truffle salt is the best! I wonder if they have the tea in their stores or just online.

I always think of Dean & Deluca on Felicity when I see/hear this! LOL

Dustin2Dust, the store near me has some. Again, a limited selection, though.

TeaEqualsBliss, I have never watched Felicity. Apparently, though, the D&D set on it is indeed modeled after the University Place D&D cafe in Greenwich Village. :)

@TEB – me too! I’ve never seen one of the stores “in person,” although I’ve never gone hunting for one either!

The only place online I know of where you can pick up Mariage Freres is http://www.porterouge.biz/. The prices are fairly reasonable, but it’s US only.

Market Hall is a little better as you can buy refills on some of the popular teas for about half the price of the same amount in the tin. French Breakfast, Marco Polo and a few others can be had at about 12$ for the refill.

drop them a msg on their FB page, they answered quite quickly to an american woman who was searching a retailer near her home.
Sure they will answer you quickly for Montréal as well

Just out of curiosity, roughly how much do they charge for shipping? There is nothing on the website for a quote prior to placing an order.

When I made a “mock” order to check – shipping in Euros to the states was around $30-35! If I’m paying that much for shipping then I’m going to order ALOT to make it worth it.

And on top of the shipping, there is an additional handling fee that is tacked on. So ordering from Mariage (France) can be quite expensive.

Yeah, I figure I might order in the spring and it’ll be my one order for 2013. Thank goodness Teavana and Davids sales were in Dec 2012! LOL
