Tea Swap!

I will be starting a tea swap for anyone who is interested. Sign-up is limited to the first fifty or so people. Just say which kind of tea is your favorite and I will assign you a partner. Then, go and find a tea that your partner likes and send it on! :)

Updated: I forgot to say that the sign-ups will close 1/5/2013 and partners will be assigned no later than 1/9!

Updated:

1/1: If everyone could send me a private message with your addresses….that would be wonderful so I can give them to your partner. I will go follow all of you so you can do that. It would also be great if yall could follow me so I can message all of you!

1/8: I have sent out your partners to those of you who have sent your address. If you haven’t sent your address, please do so. As soon as I receive it, I will assign a partner.

okay. I love oolongs, good cinnamon teas, and flavored rooibos. I also like flavored green teas. So basically, straight oolongs and full flavored teas. (I can only send one ounce things or less, is this okay? Also, I would love a partner who likes Davids Tea, because it’s around the corner from my house)

I am interested in mostly unflavored tea and florals(jasmine, rosemary, cherry blossom etc), whites, greens, oolongs primarily. an exception being Lupicia flavored teas(I am currently exploring), with a few other brands offering teas I am curious about.

I’d love to join! Would the tea swap be a tea sample (a couple of bags?) or an entire tin? Or something in between?

I love a good flavored black tea, chais are nice, and would like to try white teas.

It is up to you how much you want to send to your partner. I was thinking just a few bags but if you are feeling more generous you are welcome to give whatever… :) Thanks for joining!

I’m in! I love flavored blacks, but I’d also like to try more full flavored rooibos and honeybush.

Me too! I have some Cookie tea from Lupicia which is really sweet & delicious. Lupicia has a lot of really sweet-flavored teas. We have one about half an hour away from our place, so if you’d like I can pick up some for samples.

@Crystal – which tea is that one called? I’m always looking for new ones to try from Lupicia but don’t want cherry.

@darby – it’s just called Cookie. It’s supposed to taste like a caramel cookie, and it really does. Best had with some milk and a bit of sugar, though, so if that’s not your thing I wouldn’t recommend.

I love Lupicia’s Momo . It’s a peach tea that smells wonderful and is good plain or sweetened, with or without milk. Definitely one of my favorite Lupicia teas. I love their Strawberry tea, too, and the Muscat.

I’m not into cherry-flavored things in general, so don’t have cherry tea at all…

might be astupid question but what’s falling under the ‘dessert tea’ category?

Small
Crystal said 2013-01-01 14:48:27 -0500

@darky: Just anything that smells/tastes sweet, and usually goes good with milk and sugar. For example, there’s a cantaloupe & cream tea from Butiki Teas that I’m eying, that will probably taste like dessert 8D
