Lupicia Grab Bags
In Japan, January 1st is like our Black Friday— except instead of good deals on TVs, all the stores offer fukubukuro, or grab bags. You can’t choose what you get, so it’s a big surprise when you get home. True to their Japanese roots, Lupicia is offering a “happy bag” (the literal translation of “fukubukuro”) on January 1st.

Under their banner on the main page it says “twice the tea for half the price”. Does that just mean for the happy bag or will their tea prices be cheaper on January 1st?
Ah! A grab bag! What a treat! I haven’t had anything at Lupicia I haven’t liked so far.

How much were these last year? I’m really contemplating getting one.
It’s been the same price every year as far as I can recall. They offer bags for $30, $60 or $100.

I want one badly too! In the past there have been $30 and $50 bags from what I read, and I also was able to pull up an old page where there was a $15 one, but it said “green and oolong tea bags.” A lot of people’s pictures have 8-10 teas plus some kind of infuser or accessory.

Sure, just let me know. I’d be all for combining to get free shipping to me and then ship it with all your other teas! I’m not sure if I can make it to 3am to get one as soon as they’re up so if you can do it I can always pay you back hahaha. All that it sells out fast talk on the page worries me after how DavidsTea sold out of everything so fast Wednesday.

Wish i were in for this but my family is convinced i have far too much tea already :( I try to tell them I drink 3 or more cups a day (which are often big cups so 6) and it goes fast. Do they listen? Not so much.
