White ayuverdic Chai

I’m steeping this in a 27oz teapot using 2 tablespoons of it with cream, and it’s still pretty weak. Anyone else also experience this with this tea or perhaps have some pointers on how I could make it stronger?

That’s about the same ratio that I use. I mix it with the Samurai Chai Mate though to give it more depth. White teas are generally lighter in flavor. Try with a little sugar and no cream and see what flavor you get.

I added sugar, vanilla extract, and less cream and it’s stronger, but still not what I was expecting :\ I think my problem could be that I was expecting it to taste as strong as starbuck’s chai latte haha

Yeah, not going to work the same. Starbucks does sell the Tazo Chai in liquid if you want.

As for a good chai to mix with milk and heat – I probably wouldn’t choose a white tea for that.

I don’t quite understand why you would mix anything beyond sweetener and /maybe/ ginger with a white chai.

I didn’t care for that one, though I am beginning to think maybe I am just much of a chai fan at all.

Just to make sure, you’re using 2 tablespoons, as opposed to teaspoons? 2 tablespoons should come out reasonably strong (though, again it’s a white tea as opposed to Tazo which is a black tea, and stronger).
