Bon Appetit Names Tea A Food Trend For 2013

What do you think? I feel like this is said every year.
Wow those pictures look like horrible quality teas, of course they’re all blends, but the leaves are all shredded, it pains me. What are those golden brown petals in the white tea? Okay off to write a very not snobbish tasting note to make up for my snobbishness here ;)
I’m kind of hoping they start incorporating tea into recipes then. I actually just treated myself to a ton of magazine subscriptions for xmas, including Bon Appetit—I haven’t subscribed to a food magazine since Gourmet folded * sob * It’d be nice to see at least a few tea-based concoctions from them, even if it’s just cocktails.
I’ve been getting it a couple of years and they do a pretty decent job. I think this summer there was a tea cocktail, a couple frozen dessert type things, and I recall earlier a lapsang salmon. And last year there was like an earl grey peach jam recipe that I was almost going to use for my jams this summer.
