ISO: teavana Swiss Vervaine Melange (or similar??)

Help! I have fallen in love with this discontinued tea & not sure what is similar to it. I am a new loose leaf tea drinker. Always drank grocery store teas until recently. I have been drinking the vervaine tea all day, every day & my supply is diminishing quickly! Would love suggestions for something close or a swap/purchase if someone has some to share! Please and thank you : )

What are the ingredients? I’m not familliar with the tea, but I may know something with similar ingredients that could offer you a starting point?

Vervaine, apple bits, carrot bits, orange peel, ginger bits, marshmallow leaves, peppermint, green rooibos, candied papaya, rosebuds, raisins, mallow blossoms, passion flower petals and peach bits.

But I dare say the vervaine, ginger and peppermint are the key players here with various floral and soft fruit notes supporting. I haven’t come across a similar tea, but though I could at least dig for the ingredients (not found on their website but on their app). Good luck!

Perhaps you could try buying the base ingredients and mixing it yourself? Mountain Rose has great prices (for example, 4 oz of vervaine is $3.75). http://mountainroseherbs.com/

My suggestion would be to call around to your local Teavana stores for it. I cleaned mine out of almost 3 pounds last week. This is my go to tea for colds and such. I have yet to find anything close to it! Sorry!

Thanks everyone! I checked the local stores and they are out! I have a small tin of a few oz. I wish I would have bought more knowing how good it was!! I might try a few more not so local stores… If not I will get to mixing!

“Hey I was in the same boat! I searched and searched and I’ve actually found the place that makes this tea! There is a place called “Tea & More” in arizona that sells it the name it goes by is “Swiss Herbs” and its cheaper than teavana! I ordered 4 oz for like $10 I had to litterally track down this tea cause I loved it so much! I found some lady in China that gave me the name of the lab that manufactures the tea and sells it wholesale and then they gave me the name of one of their distributors! I hope you find this helpful!

So, I’m currently drinking the Swiss Herbs fro tandmore.com that’s mentioned above and I have to say it’s VERY similar to the Swiss Vervain. It’s not entirely the same thing, but it’s my only option to replace one of my favorite tisanes and it’s pretty good. It has the same narcotic effect, it’s a little more orange and less peppermint than Swiss Vervain. I recommend for anyone who dug the Swiss Vervain as much as I did.
