If you could only have one tea for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Ok, OK! I can do this. Can I just ask, though, would there be milk after the zombie apocalypse/desert island?
IF milk: Pride of the Port by Peets
If no milk: gyokuro
But I really think if we banded together we could beat those zombies/make a coconut telephone/boat and we’d have all the access to tea we so deeply need!

Hmm yes well that makes sense. Too, on a desert island I can’t believe there’d be access to cows roaming about, and even if there were, I think I’d let them be, so I guess I’d have to go with my green tea choice. Weeping at the thought…

Taiwan Sweet Summer Oolong, because the flavor changes/gets better with each steep.

I do have to admit that I picked this based on my thinking that there had to be some sort of apocalypse involved. Therefore, I picked something that was delicious without milk and sugar, required few leaves, and could be steeped multiple times.

I will miss black teas, and my beloved Earl Grey most. :(

This is so hard! BUT if I had to pick I would either say a really delicious earl gray creme (Persimmon???) OR, yerba mate mint… because black tea often makes me nauseated, though, I think I’m going to have to go with the mate! BUT, my students say I’m in a better mood after I drink bergamot so… it’s a tie! Maybe a mate earl gray… Does that exist?!?!?!

I think at this time I would choose Tea & Bloom’s Creamy Nut Oolong, I’m new to oolongs but this is probably me favourite tea I’ve ever had.

however, I suspect once I try
SLOW-LIFE TEA from lupicia,(“Rustic blend of puer tea and houjicha with roasted corn and buckwheat grains.”) it will be a harder choice…

With milk: Harney’s Tower of London.
