Saturday Sample Sipdown! Who's in?
This is a great idea! I am sipping ROT AK blend right now. I will go spread out all of my samples and get started:)
I have been sipping all day today, in between reading Anna K. So close to being done! (With the book, anyway, not with all my samples. Haha, I’ll never see the end of all of these samples!)
Currently sipping down a sample I got from Jude which is pretty good but unfortunately the company no longer exists! Well, I’ve got 2 more mugs to go of the pot so I’ll enjoy it while I can. My first sipdown since I started Steepster last month!
I’m in! had a bit of teaware drama, now resolved. doing another bag athon today at least. want to get through more single steep teas during the weekend events!
not exactly…no breakage. lapsang souchong refused to leave completely after tasting yesterday in my all purpose travel mug…and after spending the rest of the day yesterday scrubbing obsessively, and ruining 3 more “tester” cups of tea I caved and bought a new mug today.
Just reminds me why I have always used dedicated teaware in the past (for each family of tea).
Yeesh. that bites. Are you going to dedicate a cup to that now?
I would have had to, or at least to blacks (and I am much more into greens whites herbals and oolongs in roughly that order!) but I have a local friend who is not as sensitive to these nuances, and likes LS, so I gave it to him.
Me too, though have yet to really get into Oolongs. I’ve tried 6 or 7 so far, but only like 2. I am a fan of flavored teas but am looking forward to trying some unflavored like Silver Needles.
Well just had a cup of Raspberry Champagne White Tea from Fusion teas…It’s alot lighter then I remembered, I hope that doesn’t mean the tea has gone stale…I thought it would be ok in the package it came in…resealable bag.
Not sure if I will have anymore tea tonight, I really should drink down some of my bagged teas, but been having a hard time convincing myself to. Heh.
Tomorow thinking of having a 2-3 cups worth of Peachberry Tranquility and Shanghai Orchid, who knows if I’ll feel up to tea after that though. If I do, I’ll have a bagged one…or try to.
If I have bagged and loose I want to use (and enjoy) in a day, I start with the bagged (or second cup after a loved staple) then work through bagged till done tasting or bored with them. I can have trouble facing bags after starting the day with most loose leaf.
at least this works for me.
try it. I can actually still enjoy some teabags this way.
7 teas…but 4 are resteeps of leaves from yesterday :)

Just started with some Green Tea this morning. Pretty tastey and a nice way to start the day! Looking forward to sipping down some samples! Looking forward to reading everyone’s tasting notes today!
