Being new to steepster, I still haven’t quite figured out what a sipdown is. Is the goal to trim the fat on the tea shelf?

:) sipdown means sipping the last cup of a tea in your cupboard, so you got it. Whether it’s a sample size or a whole package, it’s fun to celebrate (or bemoan) the last cup of a tea.

Here we go! Saturday “organize your tea cupboard and try to figure out which teas can be sipped down over the next week and which teas need to go out for swaps so that when the girls come over next weekend with the 50+ teas you’ve ordered your cupboard will be ready for it” sipdown!

I’m working on one sipdown today so far, hoping to maybe get in another, but that may be unlikely..this one is a Verdant black tea that will steep on all day. Not that that’s a bad thing of course… :P

Haha yeah everytime I do a sipdown I do a little song like the batman song…“dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun SIPDOWN…..sipdown….” Lols, so don’t worry, you still are cooler than me. :D

I’m doing one sipdown today. It’s Moose Munch by Harry and David, thanks to Josie Jade. It smells carmally…kinda like caramel popcorn. It smells sweet but doesn’t taste sweet. I can definitely taste the caramel but not much else…kinda like caramel water, lol. I have more if anyone would like to swap:) I hope you don’t mind if I re-swap Josie?…I really appreciate your generous goodies:)

No sip downs for today. I’m at Tony’s & the only teas I brought were my newly delivered “damn fine teas” (I love saying that!). So I’ll be drinking them all weekend. And they’s good!
