Best Blueberry Teas?

I am in the market for some good blueberry tea but there are 111 listed here! I’d love to hear from anyone who can recommend their favorite/best blueberry teas!

Thanks so much,

Maitri

Off the top of my head, DavidsTea’s Blueberry jam and White tiger are pretty good blueberry teas I’ve tried

You know, it’s funny but in the last week at least 3 people have mentioned DavidsTeas and I think it must be a sign and when I read the description of this blueberry jam tea I nearly swooned just reading the description! I’m going to order it tonight! Thank you!

I was going to suggest Blueberry Jam as well – it is one of my top two blueberry teas and the other is only available locally so no point naming it. : )

I think I’m going to have to pick up some Blueberry Jam in the near future unless anyone has a cup’s worth to swap!

I was going to say David’s Blueberry jam as well. I also like Della Terra’s Blueberry Cream. Also, The Republic of Tea’s Wild Blueberry is the only one I’ve actually liked from them (that I’ve tried).

I was listening to public radio today and I don’t know how it came up but they talked about how powerfully good blueberries are for you and I’ve always loved them and it made me start thinking about blueberry tea… of course, everything leads back to tea one way or another doesn’t it? :)

Azz – it was in the Amoda tea box, the first one so if one of your other sororiteasisters picked it up after the fact, they may have some.

I love the name – serendipitea.

Oh yeah the blueberry jam from David’s is pretty good – Im not a big fan of David’s Tea but this one is very blueberryish!

If you can get your hands on ANY blueberry cream cheese danish from 52 Teas that is a great one but I don’t think it is easy to come by!

I also PMd you an idea.

momo said 2013-01-14 19:43:09 -0500

The Blueberry Cream Cheese Danish one is tops for me too, Blueberry Jam is a great recommendation for something available currently.

I really wish Teas, Etc still had their Blueberry Pie one too.

I liked Blueberry Pie from the Whistling Kettle. They have a tin of it on sale right now. I’ve been tempted to buy more. http://www.thewhistlingkettle.com/tea-of-the-week/cheap-tea-tin-closeout-4175.html

Oh I wonder if that is like this Teas Etc one that’s no longer on their site. I shouldn’t order more tea but now I’m curious!

Honestly, Celestial Seasoning’s True Blueberry is pretty good for the price. I think it’s one of the only fruit teas I’ve ever actually liked from them.

Small
Uniquity said 2013-01-15 12:35:32 -0500

That one actually is pretty good, though a bit heavy on the hibiscus.

Small
Crocuta said 2013-01-15 21:05:47 -0500

Too true. A Celestial Seasonings fruit tea without hibiscus is like a Teavana tea without sugar.

I LOVE Wild Blueberry tea from The Republic of Tea. It has a really full blueberry flavor without being artificial. It was limited edition, but when I ordered in December they still had it available. :)

I first want to thank you all for your great ideas. I was really disoriented at 52 teas site. I haven’t been there in quite awhile and their blueberry tea is one I wanted to get for a long time and it was never in stock and isn’t now. It looks like their site is being renovated but it doesn’t seem like there are many teas available. I keep looking thinking I’m missing something there. I’ll check back again later.

I’ll pop back in and let you know what I order! :)

Possibly the thing you’re not aware of is that Frank’s teas are generally limited-edition? He blends a new one every week, and it’s only available until it sells out (hence the name).

Now he DOES frequently re-blend stuff that was popular, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that when people mention a popular tea of his, it’s currently on sale. No, usually the only way to get a popular past tea of his is through swaps.

Which is why is personally drives me bugshit that people constantly recommend his teas when the specific ones they mention ARE NOT ON THE WEBSITE. I’m not calling out any one person here – LOTS of people on Steepster do this, and they don’t always mention that you can’t get the tea except through swapping. It’s terribly confusing to people such as you, and very clique-y and obnoxious to boot. Sure, you could strike out to make swapping friends, but not everyone wants to swap. Wish people here would STOP doing this.

Small
momo said 2013-01-15 11:48:11 -0500

Ok I wasn’t going to say anything but calling it cliquey is obnoxious. You know maybe we name it off in hopes that it will get reblended because it was so good.

Frank has made plenty of threads for doing exactly that. It’s unwelcoming, in-group behaviour.

I think we can express ourselves here without insulting others. : ) Example: “hey friends you are recommending teas that are not available! Let’s keep our recommendations up to date! Thanks!”

I personally love blueberries, but the only blueberry tea I’ve tried is Adagio’s White Blueberry. It’s pretty good if you’re looking for something a bit lighter than black. I’ll have to try some of the teas on this thread though. They all look delicious.
