I’m looking for a glass pouch (also known as Roo) mug and a ceramic induction hotplate.

As I’m in a dorm, and I also like to have tea when I travel, I’m looking for a small electric kettle.

Curious if you ended up getting this Laura? This looks like a good deal.

Can’t afford something like this right now, but might put it on the wedding registry. Actually, we might have put one on already, but I’ll take note of this one. Looks a little large for travel, though.

I’m looking for a kettle with a thermometer or thermostat so the temperature can be set manually instead of it just boiling to 100 degrease each time. It would save loads of time waiting for water to cool.

We had a discussion about this once…HAH, found it. The ability my brain has to retain certain information continues to amaze me. Now if only I could get it to work on command…

Since you’re in the UK, I’m not sure how useful that is to you, though I imagine a power converter would do the trick. A google search surfaced this:

Much cheaper here, but not sure how legit:

Good luck!

I need cute tins that can hold 1/2 lb. or 1 lb. of tea. For some reasons, all the empty tins I’ve found are too small, or aren’t cute. :(

Rishi has a decent selection of tea storage tins. They don’t go up to a whole 1 lb, but they do have some 250 g tins that would store a half pound. They seem to be out of stock on some stuff, but I think they’re cute.

EDIT: Forgot to link you.

Wait, PAPER covered??? O.o Then… how do you clean them when they’re empty?

takgoti said

Very carefully, I’d imagine. Likely just with damp cloth instead of dunking it in water or running it in the sink.

They’re pretty. But I don’t think I could have them. They would stop being pretty too quickly in my flat.

Hah, yeah, I can see that being a problem.

Anyhow, they also carry some plain metal ones, though Suzi had specifically mentioned cute, and I remembered those being cute. There’s also some ceramic containers, but you can see all of it for yourself just as easily via the link.
