Did anyone else see this Link that Hugo Tea posted on Facebook today?
i saw it now. for the tea tho…that can apply only to the bagged fannings right?
the pomegranate part reminded me of the pom product that has the arils still whole :D
I believe it does just apply to the dust and fannings.
This is one of the things that makes me see red. I have a child with serious food allergies, so I need to be able to trust that what I’m feeding her is what is listed on the ingredients. I would feel that way even if she didn’t have food allergies, but I shouldn’t have to worry about whether or not I’ll need to stab her with an Epi Pen because someone lied about what is in her food. And while the major food allergens (milk, egg, peanut, etc…) are now listed under the ingredients a lot of the food that cause her to react are not on that list.
Many years ago I was worried about one of my daughters who was extremely picky. She craved carbs all the time. I told our doctor we were going to tart grinding our own wheat and making our breads at home so that the Vitamin E would not be oxidized and she could get more nutrients. When he started telling me what they are allowed to do and still call it “whole wheat” in the store, I was stunned. Then our orthodontist told us the same thing after he went for a nutrition review following a heart attack. (He was a very fit looking man.) I will try to post a link. Basically they sell part of the good stuff off for animal feed and replace it with non-digestible bits like sawdust. Yep. And it isn’t a conspiracy theory. You can check it out lots of places. My daughter lost her headaches and allergy eyes when we made the switch, and my fibro-cystic pain went away. GONE.
