Something familiar like Lady Grey.

recommendation for anyone who finds vanilla comforting. Persimmon Tree: French Vanilla Bean. Simple, basic vanilla.

I definitely am a vanilla-comfort girl. Thanks for the recommendation!

I’m also a fan of vanilla when I want something comforting. there are a number of different kinds I like, but vanilla is just so soothing.

Such days usually make me want something stronger.

For tea, probably Earl Grey Moonlight.

Crushed lavender and Yuuki-cha’s haru bancha steeped for a few minutes in not-too-hot water, then poured into an adorable little white cup. After that first sip I usually don’t give a damn what happened that day.

A second flush muscatel darjeeling or a similar tasting black Nepali tea. Or an earl grey with lots of lavender (I find the smell of lavender immediately soothing), which I tend to add a bunch of milk and a pinch of raw sugar to when I’m distressed. Or if the day is really bad and I just want to go to bed early to end it as soon as possible, NM Extra Sleepy Bear.

Tower of London is one of my faves too!

I find lavender to be very soothing too. I used to have a lavender oil that I would just sniff if I felt angry/out of sorts and it would help me feel better.

A different Giddapahar Musk Second Flush from Thunderbolt Teas has known all my sorrows each year for three years now.
