Dear Steepsters

I’d say I’ve got that tea swag, but I made sure that my earl greys were infront of the tower… I’m such a dork and you have made it worse. Bad steepster! Bad!

Ah, ok. was a bit afraid there :P then again, any earl grey around me is more EG for you, or others in the EG fanbase :)

That would be a lot of EG.

Hey that reminds me is there “show us your stash” thread here? On a bodybuilding forum there is a thread for people to upload pics of their supplement stashes. I was thinking most of you guys would have some killer stashes…probably multiple pics.

yes there is a stash pics thread. I think this is the link for the main one: http://steepster.com/discuss/2404-stash-slash-cupboard-pictures?page=1

This is a starter stash. Go to Kasumi’s thread.

yappychappy is absolutely right! This is my collection since it started in November, I think I have depleted 7-8 50g. loose teas pouches so far which is not much, but more water than I ever drank at any given time.

lol…at least 2-3 threads that have come up in the past month at least. the one above is terrific and you should only go thru it when you got ALOT of time to kill. Caution! You may experience mild to severe pangs of envy when viewing that thread!

LOL.

Alternately, pangs of shame when you realize that even compared to other people on Steepster, your stash is truly monstrous…. :P

My stash is pretty bad too, but it’s not organized in the slightest. So I’m scared to show because it’s really just a bunch of scattered things.

I feel shame too, I’m so unorganized! I always feel like I should take a day, sit down and organize them by type at least… and then I decide I’d rather spend the day drinking tea and reading ^^:

I cant really organize unfortunately, I have to make due with meticulous labeling. I pulled everything out to smile for the camera, but normally my tea is all separated by steeping type or who sent it to me into zip-locs, which are then placed into one of those paper shopping mall bags and then stored in the darkest space I can find.

LOL @ Alphakitty. I tried to make a spreadsheet of my tea once and gave up after 5 minutes. I’m also not a very organized person in general, though.

Lady – I would call your above picture fairly organized. My tea collection takes up one five tiered shelf, a kitchen shelf, another shelf, half of one table, and then another full table. When people come over they say, “So uh… I guess you like tea.”

yappychappy – Nope, my stuff isn’t organized enough for a picture :P Hopefully someday once I’m out of school! (Although perhaps the stash will be smaller then).

I told my husband I needed a dedicated cabinet for my tea as my stash was outgrowing the pantry. He looked around the kitchen and said “No, you need a dedicated room.”

Lynxiegrl said 2013-01-26 18:53:57 -0500

I think my brain would boggle if I had a room dedicated to tea. Just a nice sized cabinet would suffice.

I think he was being facetious. Maybe.

A tea room/office/library and I’d be in heaven. Trouble is, I HAVE an extra room I COULD do this, except it was already supposed to be my office/library and instead it has a twin bed, a chair, a chaise, and a pub table, with no desk and all my books in the closet. Ran out of money doing the backyard :(
