New Yixing pot - help deciding
Love the teapot, great find. And good info about used vs unused pots.
ps – I would personally be cautious about drinking from the teapot pictured in the original post.
I noticed that several websites have pulled the wrong description for the pot, also. In the detail portion, you will see that it is describing a dragon teapot with a dragon having five toes, and is enameled on the inside. This pot isn’t enameled. The description was erroneously pulled from their cast iron teapot and put on this Yixing. As Yixing go, it is very inexpensive. Many very simple ones on purepuer.com are five times more expensive, and up! But I have checked it for the “mud” aroma (not the clean clay aroma) and it is fine as far as that goes.
