I have heard good things on both. I own the Breville and love it. Check the reviews on both as well. :) Welcome!

I got the Breville one touch and it made such weak tea. I don’t know how others love it. If you usually do one cup – then the Cuisinart would be for you. You pretty much have to make a pot with the Breville.

does the Breviile as a rule make a weaker pot? I also see that you can use it as a kettle as well. Doe sit make agood pot or tea or not?? Also what adjustments need to be made. More teas etc . Seems eveyone likes this machine
I love my tea strong>>>

Haha seriously! Although Christmas 2011 I got the one touch’s slightly similar half cousin, the cuisinart ;)

I would sell a kidney for the one touch, so personally I’d go with that. If You are even doubting needing it, though, I’d return that and stick with the kettle until your tea obsession gets out of control and you realize you HAVE TO HAVE the one touch. But really, for just one cup at a time the kettle is your best bet.

I adore my Breville. It is the best present I have ever bought myself…

I have never had a problem with weak tea out of my Breville – however if you feel your tea is weak in the breville or otherwise – add more leaf next time.

I have neither do my opinion isn’t from experience but I’ve never been interested in the Breville. I would go for the Cuisinart and enjoy the refund from the Breville toward something else I need/want.

If you do see yourself frequently making several cups of tea at a time the Breville might be the way to go though.
