Milk and Sugar?

I’ve been making a lot of pots of tea lately, and I always have the first cup black. If I think it needs milk and sugar, I tend to put them into the pot itself rather than on a cup-by-cup basis. Lazy? Maybe. Anyone else do this?

Interesting! I do this with sugar but have never with milk. I don’t usually use milk though.

Oh, and I don’t think it’s lazy!

I use sweetner (honey) in the cup not the pot; have never used milk in my tea but then again have never even tried it. I should, perhaps I’d like it.

I do this too when drinking breakfast blacks or EG’s. I know how I like them so I prepare the pot so that it is ready to drink. I never thought it was lazy before but now that you mention it :(

I do that whenever I make a pot of tea. Usually when I am making a full pot it is because I am writing a paper or something though, so I need vast quantities of tea ready to drink!

Nah… I don’t think it’s lazy, it’s a matter of personal preference. You want your pot to be ready to go.. nothing wrong with that. :)
