Tea as a companion?
Does anybody else find tea as a companion? I’m single, and when I drink tea I don’t feel alone. I like being single, don’t get me wrong. But I spend every night with my computer and drinking tea. Sometimes I read.
Tea, and Incense both…the (eastern)cultures and philosophies surrounding them mention this aspect of the practice.
I would love to buy incense, but they are prohibited in my apartment. I sometimes burn incense with my mom.
Ohhhh.. tea paired with incense, that’s relaxation! I have one on right now… sandalwood while drinking dragonwell. :)
sandalwood is an amazing incense, too bad my fiance is allergic!
Ugh, I can’t stand incense, perfumed smoke, hard to breath.
But tea, books, cats and my laptop are my closest friends.
Incense and tea is such a great combination. I almost always have candles on but may try incense! Tea is also a companion for me – I drive 2/hour a day to commute. I love having tea in my travel mug while I listen to my audio book or listen to the radio…
Books are companions. And tea is a companion to them.
:) True. Maybe that is why I volunteer for a library. :)
Tea is a constant companion for me. I often have a cup sitting beside me when I’m reading or using my laptop.
I’ve never considered lighting incense while drinking tea! I’m going to try this. I usually light a scented candle with my dessert tea.
