I just checked them out and it was $12 shipping for 12 samples!

Wow! that is very different from what is mentioned about the $5 flat rate suggestion on the page! thanks for the warning.

I’d send them a note. Maybe there’s a bug in their shopping cart since the website does say 5$ for samples.

Yeah, when I ordered samples last year it was definitely $5.

I’ll have to look again, but when I got to checkout the first time, it definitely said $12. Glad to see the bug isn’t affecting everyone :)

Does David’s Tea or Lupicia offer samples sizes for sale in store?

davids has 2 free teas for tasting in store – kinda like the equivalent of free samples when you order online. they also sold .50 for a tsp sample of about 4 flavors when i visited.

I bring my own containers to David’s, and they’ll weigh out 10 or 20g.

You can get any (even) number of grams in store at Davids. I think there may be a minimum of 10 for the scale, but not positive. They will bag it in the foil bags as usual (or a tin if you want, but that would be silly. :D)

you can buy any amount of tea in store! Though the scale sometimes throws a fit when you try to print out a really low weight bag, I have always figured my way around the issue! I send my friend sample care packages sometimes it’s great to be able to just pick up small bags instead of having to package my own from my supply. that way they have labels and a good bag!

I rather like my David’s samples. Now I wish I bought more of holiday their black teas.

I can reply now that you can only buy 50g in the store at Lupicia, at least in the one I went to… it’s acutally already pre-packaged, so when I wanted to buy 100g of a tea I just bought two 50g bags.

hotsoup also have an English option flag right corner and they ship worldwide.

Unfortunately the English option only applies to the headings, Sandra, the descriptions of each tea are still in Dutch :( They seem to have a good selection, though.
