eta: it’s made of such cheap metal I can’t wear it because I can smell it (you know like metal clothes hangers UGHHH) so I really wouldn’t recommend that person anyway lol

Paint the metal with clear nail polish. It will wear off after a while, but will keep that yucky metal smell away for a little bit.

Yeah I am honestly surprised I haven’t done that with it because I need to do that for most rings to not end up with a ring of red itchy skin later. It’s sitting in vinegar right now too so hopefully that’ll kill it off.

I ended up getting the tea necklace Rachel linked. I get so many compliments on it! My only complaint is the chain seems a little thin. I hope it holds up because I wear the necklace everyday.
